Terry  as a Playboy bunny in the 60s

Terry was one of the first Playboy bunnies that opened LA's first Playboy Club in the 1960s.

Remember  that "Will and Grace" episode where Grace secretly follows this personal trainer at the gym while he trains his client so she could  get free session out of it.  Ha ha ha. Well Terry was kind of like Grace. Just kidding.

Terry gave me a call after she observed how I trained my clients and finally got my contact info from the front desk. She confessed she had been following me around to figure out whether I was the kind of trainer she wanted to work with and it was such a huge compliment when she finally approached me.  One thing that was very cool was when I found out that she was one of the very first Playboy Bunnies who opened the Los Angeles Playboy Club in the 60's. Rubbing elbows with Mr. Hugh Hefner himself and the Hollywood's elite.

Terry ventured out of that business and became one of Glendale's respectable realtors. Weight management became an issue with her since her lifestyle forced her to be less active and with a bit of stress, it's a perfect formula for weight gain. Despite numerous joint surgeries, she was determined to get her "sexy back" and decided to give me a call.

The results are AMAZING !!!  I am very proud of what she has accomplished for herself. None of this would have been possible if it hadn't been for her hard-work.  Today, she has brought her body  back to its "glory days" , very toned, athletic and of course she looks HOT even without the bunny ears.

Letter from Terry:

Although I had worked out with some regularity since the early 1980’s, by the time I turned 60 I had developed considerable joint pain.  Within the following 2-years I had one hip replacement, arthroscopy knee surgery, and I broke my wrist which never healed right.  It put a stop to my working out.

When I decided I had to get back into shape I knew I needed professional guidance in order not to injure myself.  I experienced 3 different “trainers” over the next couple of years, but none inspired me.  When I changed gyms I worked out on my own for a number of weeks while studying the trainers that I saw and how they interacted with their students.  Whenever possible I eavesdropped on their conversations and occasionally asked questions as unobtrusively as I could.  The results of my research?  Moni stood out head and shoulders above the rest.

After the first 6 months with Moni I lost 17 lbs. and went from 35.3% body fat to 28.4% body fat.  The months that followed even brought more promising and exciting results. There’s no question that Moni’s expertise is exceptional.  I have been training with him for about 2 years now and  I never cease  to notice  his unique passion for his vocation .  You can see it in the way he pays attention to you, the way he observes your body movements, sees exactly which muscles you are using, and explains in a way you can understand and remember why certain adjustments in posture, grip, stance, etc. are necessary.  You can feel that he cares.  He wants you to succeed.

Moni instills motivation in me that remains long after our workout.  He delights in my every improvement, and in case you don’t remember he’ll remind you (without looking at his notes) that only a short time ago you weren’t able to do that certain exercise or that many repetitions, or with that much weight.  I am often impressed by the amount of detail he remembers about me, only one of his many students.

Moni is also one of the nicest guys I’ve had the pleasure of knowing.  He’s concerned, very considerate, even generous, and so easy to talk to with an easy-going way about him and a good sense of humor.

I'm in my mid-60's and I feel great.  I must look it, too, because my friends have noticed and made complimentary comments.  My clothes size has dropped to the lowest it has ever been.  I feel strong, in shape and healthy, and I intend to continue working out with Moni for as long as I am able.
